The wind is full of a thousand voices

Listen to the chilly November wind as it might want to tell you something.
Listen closely, there just might be a message for you.

Today it’s ALL HALLOWS’ DAY, the Day of the Dead.
Today we honour the deceased people that we’ve known, we remember them and we light a candle for them.
Yesterday we all celebrated Halloween with our wacky costumes and probably had a great party with lots of fun.
In the pagan culture it is said that the veil between the living world and the dead is especially thin during
the last night and today. That’s the reason why we celebrate Halloween with all those spooky costumes:
to scare the bad ghosts away or to be overlooked by them.
Winter is creeping up on us with huge steps, and the light of the day will still be decreasing until the 21st of December.
A calm time of self reflection begins today and we can start to review our actions of our last year
and start making plans for the next year to come.

” … Standing on the bridge that crosses
the river that goes out to the sea
The wind is full of a thousand voices
they pass by the bridge and me
I can see the lights in the distance
trembling in the dark cloak of night
Candles and lanterns are dancing, dancing
a waltz on All Souls Night… “
