S A M H A I N

It’s Samhain. This ancient feast is being celebrated from sunset on October 31st until sunrise on November 1st. It marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter.
Legends tell that during this night the veil between the world of the living and the dead and other dimensions is very thin and can be overcome easily.
Nowadays we celebrate this night with a modern Halloween-Party. Originally, creepy masks and costumes were used to scare away supposedly evil entities.

But Samhain also marks the day of new beginnings: the annual cycle comes to an end, a new year starts and with it a new season to sow the fields with new seeds, to nourish them and to watch new plants and projects grow.

This year Samhain is going to be even more than just a magical night to us. It marks a completely new beginning for ‘The Vintage Romance’. This will be the last post on this blog in the way you are used to since we’re announcing some major changes with today’s blog post.
Don’t worry, we will still be the same girls, just move ‘ourselves’ and you even might be a little surprised by what’s to come… : )
Until then we’re apologizing for possible malfunctions on this site that might occur.

BE PREPARED FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY NEW IN NOVEMBER,
and make sure to check back soon for more!

We’re so excited, everything’s tingling….
With lots of love and stardust,

    @Lila:
    Dieses Kleid habe ich schon seit über 10 Jahren im Schrank und habe es damals in einem Gothic-Shop gekauft… 😉
