Journey to the Light

We are travelers on a cosmic journey –
stardust, swirling and dancing in the eddies and whirlpools of infinity.
Life is eternal.
We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other,
to meet, to love, to share.
This is a precious moment. It is a little parenthesis in eternity.”

Hello there, dear readers!
Today it’s me, Elaine, presenting you our epic new photo-set with a masterpiece of a dress that’s handmade and tailored by the Romanian designer Ela Siromascenko.*
Ela is based in Milan / Italy and started her brand in 2012, former known as ‘Elochka’, now called ‘Ela Siromascenko’ since March 2015.
Oh what a beautiful, calm and sunny day we spent on that castle ruin to take these photos, lost and forgotten in the middle of nowhere. It almost felt like some uplifting magic was lingering there, without any need for the feeling of time and space.
As the hours went by we discovered more and more hidden, mythical corners, full of shadows and light.
And I felt like a real princess, wandering around on that ruin in my gorgeous, glowing red dress.
You bet, right?
But every princess needs a crown, too! So I decided to make myself a little headdress with a few roses in the same color as the dress and a sparkling silver chain. I didn’t want to add too much jewelry, but I put on my little rose-quartz pendant for this quite dark, epic and mysteriously romantic look – standing for love, inner peace an harmony.
We hope you like our new photo-story, telling you a tale of beauty, magic and light.
You really should take a look at Ela’s website where you can admire more of her beautiful dresses – she’s a truly talented, passionate artist!
And maybe you also want to give her Facebook-site a like.
Last but not least – Thank you, Ela, for this stunning dress!
Without it these glorious photos just wouldn’t be.
Take a look at Isabelle’s beautiful dress , too!
